Rights and obligations arising from the accommodation contract
Published by the Hotels and Related Businesses Section of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA):
- The accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the room has been booked and confirmed or, if confirmation was not possible due to time constraints, made available.
- The conclusion of the accommodation contract obliges the contracting parties to fulfill the contract, regardless of the duration for which the contract is concluded.
- The hotelier is obliged to pay compensation to the guest if the room is not made available.
- The guest is obliged to pay the agreed or customary price if the contractual services are not used, less any expenses saved by the hotelier (usually 20%).
- Please note the cancellation conditions applicable to Hotel Hubertus in the appendix.
- a) The hotelier is obliged in good faith to reallocate unused rooms wherever possible in order to avoid losses.
- b) Until the room is reallocated, the guest must pay the amount calculated in accordance with clause 4 for the duration of the contract.
Cancellation policy
The following applies in principle:
- Reservations must be canceled by 6:00 p.m. on the day before arrival at the latest. If this is not the case, we will charge a cancellation fee equal to the price of one night's accommodation.
- For departures before the planned departure date, we will in any case charge for the night following the actual departure date.
- We can only accept cancellations in writing (email, fax, or post) and they are only valid after written confirmation from us.
- In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, the entire stay will be charged.
- Special cancellation conditions apply to group reservations (3 rooms or more) and must be agreed individually.
Prices
Prices are quoted per room per day or, in the case of package deals, per room per stay, including all taxes and charges. Errors and changes excepted. The cost of breakfast, valued at €10.00 per person, is included in the price and will be shown separately on the invoice due to the different VAT rates.
Payments
We accept EC cards as well as Master Card and Visa credit cards. Of course, you can also pay your bill in cash. The hotel reserves the right to authorize your credit card before arrival/check-in.
Arrival and departure
You can check into your room or apartment from 12:00 noon on the day of arrival. If you arrive late (after 6:00 p.m.), please notify the hotel reception by telephone. Otherwise, the room may be rented to other guests if possible. On departure, you will be asked to vacate your room by 10:30 a.m. for cleaning.
Parking
The parking spaces in front of the hotel are free of charge and can also be used by larger vehicles, minibuses, and sprinters.
